I'm Tomáš Horváth, the person running this website. This page tells you plainly what data I collect and why — no unnecessary legalese.
What I collect and why
Google Analytics — I use anonymised analytics to understand which articles you read and what's useful. I can't identify you personally, only see what content works. Legal basis: your consent.
Contact form — If you write to me, I store your name, email address, and message in order to reply. Legal basis: legitimate interest. I delete this data within 1 year.
Hosting (Forpsi) — This site runs on Forpsi servers in the EU. Like any hosting provider, they have access to standard technical logs.
Who I share data with
No one beyond what's needed to run the site. Google Analytics processes data as a processor under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Forpsi operates within the EU.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Just email hello@tomashorvath.dev — I'll respond within 30 days.
If you believe I'm processing your data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In the Czech Republic: Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (ÚOOÚ). In the UK: Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Changes
